English 8:
Written book report -- Due November 3
Reading log for today: Is your book realistic? Is it believable? Is it important that the book be realistic or believable? Explain your answer.
"Reluctant" journal: Read to page 223.
Do you look like your dad or your mom? Do you look like any of your siblings? Can you think of any physical aspects that you've inherited from your predecessors? Any other aspects? (like musical talent or a talent for playing a sport or being good with cars or things like that)
Who is to blame for what happened to Jessie? Do you believe that people are responsible for their own actions? Explain.
Senior Drama:
Actors -- learn your lines for "Do or Die" and for the Chester/Clarise scene.
Theatre Production -- I'm afraid that we can't paint after school on Thursday, because the dance team is using the theatre. Make sure you make good use of your decorating time on Friday!!
Directors -- we will have a last run through on Friday before Show-time on Hallowe'en! Any last minute suggestions? Jot them down!
Drama 8:
Remember, if you want someone in your group for the last project, put that in your journal on Friday!
Journal topic: What is one lesson you need to learn? (examples, don't procrastinate! don't give up if things are difficult! don't be too trusting!)
