Comedia del'arte stuff

Grade 9/10's:

This is what you need in your comedia del'arte scenes:

-love/money plot
-current events (one as a basis for your plot and whatever references you make to current situations that can elicit jokes)
-JOKES - about characters, funny names, jokes about your circumstances, jokes about your current event(s)
-physical comedy
-stock characters with lazzis for everyone (Pantalone, Il Dotore, Il Capitano, young lovers, wily servants, like Harlequin and Columbina)
-spoofs of pop culture
-costumes

You should develop a plot fast so you have something to "hang your hat on".
