A picture is worth a thousand words!

Grade 8's!  Remember you will recite on Monday and Tuesday!  Be ready!

Journals:

Ms. Kosar is going to show you a series of photographs that are part of the 100 most influential photographs in the world (as chosen by Time magazine).  Here is the link if you want to look at the other photographs:  http://100photos.time.com.  I have chosen "Tank Man", "Muhammed Ali vs. Sonny Liston", and "Grief".  There are lots of other great photos though, that capture terrible moments in the history of the world, or whimsical moments, or shocking ones, or inspiring ones.  It can help if you know the background of the photo, but that isn't absolutely necessary.

You are to choose the photo that moves you the most and write about why you chose it.  Then think about what we know about tableaus and write about whether this photograph fulfills the requirements of a tableau.

If you want to choose a different photo, go ahead, but explain why you chose it.
