That's a great song by Irving Berlin and was featured in several movies and was performed by Ethel Waters and Marilyn Monroe. Anyway, we're having one! We have been advised that the school district is asking kids to stay home on Monday because it's so hot, so if you were going to pop in and give me journals or recite, let's do it on Tuesday. (That's what the school is suggesting.)
I know several of you said you would come in on Monday at 11:20. If you can, we can meet on Tuesday at the same time. Just pop me an email if that's what you'd like to do. Otherwise, give me an idea when you'll be able to come.
Be careful tomorrow. It will be very hot, so you need to keep hydrated and stay in the shade. The air quality is poor, too, so don't engage in any vigorous activity. Read a book somewhere cool.
