Journal for April 24, 2026

Drama 8:  What should Ms. Kosar know about you?  Have you ever done Drama before?  Explain what you've done, if anything.  Have you ever had to perform in front of an audience?  (sports, music, dance, public speaking, etc.) Explain what.  How did it go?  Do you have stage fright?  Do you know how to deal with it?  What are your pronouns?

Drama 9:  Write a brief scene based on your heritage story.  Include character names, setting and try to write it so that it sounds like people are actually speaking.

Senior Drama:  What is the plot of the "First Line, Last Line" play you will be acting on Tuesday?  What are you contributing to the play?  (Provide details.)

Heritage Stories

Drama 9:  Choose a story from your family history.  It can be from long ago or it can be your own story -- you're in the family, too!  Make sure you tell the setting and the circumstances of what happened.  If it takes place during a war, say which war.  Find out the names of the people involved.  Make sure you include as much detail as you can.  (You can talk to your families about this -- you might find out things you didn't know about your own history!)

Cupid Needs Therapy

 Senior Drama:

Describe what you did for the play.  Provide details that describe your role and what you did to fulfill it.  (Like you made the sign, "Healing is a process" and you drew a sick person . . . etc.)

How did you do?  (Explain this.  You memorized your lines, you used a funny voice, you brought a costume.)

How did the show go?  (Describe in detail.  The music was great.  You liked the set.  You hated the friends you had in the audience.  You thought "Harriet's" performance was great.  I know there's no Harriet, so this is to give you an idea.)
